If you've ever tried to "clean up" your Google Drive, you know the problem: it always ends with more folders, not fewer. New files come in faster than you can categorise them. Automation tools promise the world but end up moving the wrong things — or worse, deleting them.

We built Sortly around three ideas:

1. Understanding > matching. An AI that reads your files is more useful than one that just parses filenames.
2. Dry-run everything. No move, delete, or trash happens without your explicit approval.
3. Undo is a feature, not an afterthought. Change your mind an hour later, a week later — it should just work.
