Refund Policy
Effective: July 20, 2026
All sales are final
Sortly credits are a pay-per-use digital service. Once a credit pack is delivered to your account, the purchase is final and non-refundable, in whole or in part. We do not offer refunds or credits for unused, partially used, or expired promotional balances.
When a credit is consumed
A credit is consumed when an operation is attempted, not when it succeeds. Scanning a new file, analysing a file with AI, running a natural-language command, or performing a meaning search all consume credits at the moment the work starts. Third-party services (Google, AI providers) may occasionally fail an attempt; such attempts remain billable and are not refunded or re-credited.
No credit refunds for failed operations
If an AI analysis, command, or search fails because of a provider outage, a network error, or a file that cannot be read, the credits for that attempt are consumed. Failed AI analysis is marked as failed in your account so you can see exactly what happened, and you can choose to run it again — a new attempt consumes new credits.
Exceptions required by law
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where a refund is required by law, we will honour it.
Chargebacks
Please contact us at /support or support@example.com before filing a chargeback — it’s almost always faster to resolve directly. Fraudulent chargebacks will result in account termination.
